Asia Cup 2025: Mohammad Nabi Creates History: The 11th match of the Asia Cup 2025 took place between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Although Afghanistan was eliminated from the tournament after losing this match, Mohammad Nabi captivated fans with his explosive batting. While batting against Sri Lanka, Mohammad Nabi scored a remarkable 60 runs off just 22 balls, hitting 3 fours and 6 sixes, with 5 of those sixes coming in the final over. At 40 years old, Nabi became the oldest player to score a half-century in the T20 format of the Asia Cup. Currently, he is 40 years and 260 days old and made his T20 debut for Afghanistan in 2010. Sri Lanka Wins the Match

In this match, Afghanistan batted first and set a target of 169 runs in 20 overs, largely thanks to Nabi's explosive innings. Besides Nabi, captain Rashid Khan and Ibrahim Zadran contributed with 24 runs each.
