DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar Arrested by CBI
चंडीगढ़- केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्यूरो (CBI) ने रोपड़ रेंज के डिप्टी इंस्पेक्टर जनरल हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर को रिश्वत के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। यह गिरफ्तारी मोहाली से की गई है।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, मंडी गोबिंदगढ़ के एक स्क्रैप व्यापारी ने भुल्लर के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी, जिसके आधार पर यह कार्रवाई की गई।
हरचरण सिंह भुल्लर पंजाब पुलिस में कई महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर कार्यरत रह चुके हैं। वे भारतीय पुलिस सेवा (IPS) के 2007 बैच के अधिकारी हैं और वर्तमान में DIG के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। भुल्लर को उनके सख्त कार्यों और ईमानदार छवि के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने ड्रग माफिया, संगठित अपराध और सामाजिक सुरक्षा से संबंधित मामलों में कठोर कदम उठाए हैं।
