ग्रीनलैंड विवाद: अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप की ग्रीनलैंड को लेकर की गई धमकियों के खिलाफ यूरोपीय देश एकजुट हो गए हैं। ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस और स्वीडन सहित यूरोपीय संघ ने ट्रंप की टैरिफ लगाने की धमकी की निंदा की है। ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री कीएर स्टारमर ने इसे “पूरी तरह गलत” बताया, जबकि फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों ने इसे “अस्वीकार्य” कहा है।
ट्रंप ने घोषणा की है कि डेनमार्क, नॉर्वे, स्वीडन, फ़्रांस, जर्मनी, ब्रिटेन, नीदरलैंड्स और फ़िनलैंड पर 10 प्रतिशत टैरिफ़ लागू होगा, जो बाद में 25 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ सकता है। यह तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक कोई समझौता नहीं होता। इस पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए मैक्रों ने लिखा, “फ्रांस यूरोप और अन्य देशों की संप्रभुता के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। यही हमारे निर्णयों का आधार है।”
