Boost from Ahmedabad Memories, Patidar Says— 'I Prefer to Stay in the Present'
RCB has reached the IPL final for the second consecutive year. In a video released by the franchise ahead of the title match, Captain Patidar openly discussed his strategy and mindset. He expressed that reaching the final for the second time at the same venue feels fantastic, as they have many good memories associated with Ahmedabad.
When asked about the pressure of the final, the captain provided a mature response. He stated, 'This is the final, a very big stage, but personally, I see it as a normal match. I don't think too far ahead about the outcomes or what might happen. My entire focus remains on the present, as overthinking in big matches can be detrimental.'
RCB's Dominance in the League Stage
This season has been remarkable for RCB. The team secured impressive victories in 9 out of 14 league matches, placing them at the top of the points table. Following this, they defeated Gujarat Titans by a massive margin of 92 runs in Qualifier-1, securing their spot in the final. Throughout the season, RCB showcased their strength by defeating renowned teams like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Proud of his team's performance, Patidar stated, 'We should take pride in the way we have played throughout the tournament. Every player has taken responsibility and contributed, which is the most positive aspect for the team. We aim to create even more wonderful memories at this Ahmedabad ground.'
